Point

In geometry, the point is the smallest location. It has no dimension, i.e. no width and height. A point is denoted by a dot.

Here P is a point symbolized by a dot.

If we placed a point in the 2D coordinate plane then it has two position values x and y.

Here, the point p located at 2^nd coordinate. Let, the coordinate of the point is (x,y). The value of the x = -4 and y = 4. Therefore, the coordinate of the point P is (-4,4).

But if we place the same in a 3D coordinate system then it has three position values x, y and z.
