Why Backup the web browser’s Bookmark?

Now-a-days most of the advance user use bookmarks in the modern web browsers. But the common problem is, If any dispute found in our system we format our system and reinstall the OS and other application. In this situation, all the saved bookmarks are lost. Now users again save the bookmarks one by one. All the modern browsers give an option to backup your Bookmarks in drive and restore it after reinstall the OS. Here We Explain the procedure of backup and restore the bookmarks in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Google Chrome

1. Backup
1. Open Google Chrome.
2. click on customize and control google chrome button . at the right top of the window.
3. select Bookmarks > Bookmarks manager.
4. select Organize > Export Bookmarks to HTML file…
5. Save the file.
2. Restore

1. Open Google Chrome.

2. click on customize and control google chrome button . at the right top of the window.
3. select Bookmarks > Bookmarks manager.
4. select Organize > Import Bookmarks from HTML file…
5. Finish.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Backup
1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
2. Click on show your Bookmarks button. at the right top of the address bar. > Show All Bookmarks ( Ctrl +Shift + B )
3. Select Import & Backup > Backup.
4. Save the file in JSON file.
2. Restore
1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
2. Click on show your Bookmarks button. at the right top of the address bar. > Show All Bookmarks ( Ctrl +Shift + B )
3. Select Import & Backup > Restore > Choose file.
4. Select the JSON file > Open
5. Finish.
