There are two combination circuit or gates are known as universal gates. Because any gate including basic gates ( NOT, AND, OR) and any combination of the basic gates can make by these two gates. Two gates are


  1. NAND Gate: Combination of AND and NOT
  2. NOR Gate: Combination of OR and NOT
